Veritas is a boutique wine, craft beer and spirits shop located at the beautiful Wilmington Riverfront. We opened in March of 2009 and our goal is to be the premier wine and craft beer shop in Northern Delaware by providing our customers with the finest products, unsurpassed service in an upscale boutique shop setting, at prices that they can appreciate.

With new products arriving weekly and such a large variety, Veritas asked us to create an event that would do the following;

  • Engage a new audience of customers
  • Create awareness of their diverse product line
  • Drive traffic into the shop
  • Move some of their less brand supported products
We Created the “Black Martini Friday.” A brand experience held at Veritas.

Black Martini Fridays is held on specially selected Fridays. This branded event places some of Veritas’ newest brands with a lounge atmosphere and fun learning experience along side a particular brand. We held a Spirits Tasting & Martini Master Class inside Veritas and converted the wine shop into a hip tasting lounge. Showcasing specially selected brands and educating attendees in the art of Master Martini making with those particular brands, we used social media, specifically Facebook, to drive event and brand awareness, as well as allow attendee’s to rsvp for the event.  Within the span of 2 hours Veritas had approximately 35 first time visitors, and increased the shops sales number for Fridays by 400%.

As a result “Black Martini Fridays” has become a repeated event at Veritas now with Absolut, Oronoco, and Yellow Tail as past sponsors. each event being a huge success in terms of shop sales, and brand awareness.
